LINDA CARAWAY CANNATA has over 40 years of experience in music education.
Linda earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Florida State University and did graduate work at the University of South Florida.
She received her Suzuki teacher training from graduates of the Suzuki Talent Education Institute, Matsumoto, Japan who were in residence at the University of South Florida.
As a member of the string faculty of the Hillsborough County (FL) school system she taught beginning strings and orchestra and helped develop a Suzuki based string curriculum.
Linda has also taught general music in public and private schools and served for many years as a church music director.
She is currently owner of Mountain Song Suzuki Violin Studio serving students in the North Carolina High Country.
Linda is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, the National Association for Music Education, and the American String Teacher's Association.
